Description
Our molded gaskets include many different rubber gasket designs to seal joints in engines and transmissions.
Carrier
and
pressed-in-place
gaskets each have specific strengths and advantages that create a tight joint seal. Bead placements within narrow sealing lands can be achieved with a carrier gasket. However, pressed-in-place gaskets seal over a greater range of compressions and can improve noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) on isolated components. It is important to thoroughly consider the application that the molded gasket will be used for prior to making a decision.
